About this agreement

Tanzkarte is a free, non-commercial website for discovering and planning Vienna's ball season. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Appropriate use

Tanzkarte is meant for its intended purpose: browsing balls, planning your own attendance, and coordinating with friends. When you use it, you agree to:

• Use the service lawfully and for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Provide accurate account information and keep your login secure.
• Respect other guests — no harassment, impersonation, hateful content, or spam.
• Only invite people to dances or private balls where it is welcome.
• Only upload content (such as a profile photo) that you have the right to use and that is appropriate for a general audience.

What you must not do

You agree not to:

• Use the service to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
• Attempt to access other users' data, accounts, or private balls without permission.
• Scrape, overload, disrupt, or attempt to compromise the service.
• Upload malicious, illegal, deceptive, or offensive content.
• Resell or exploit the service commercially.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add (profile photo, dance notes, private ball details). You grant us permission to store and display it as needed to run the service for you and the people you share it with. You are responsible for what you upload.

Availability and changes

This is a hobby project offered "as is", with no guarantee of availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that it will be error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service, or update these terms, at any time. Where reasonable we will reflect material changes via the "last updated" date.

Ending your use

You can stop using Tanzkarte and delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms.
