Hunters' Ball – Ball of the Green Cross

The Jägerball is held on the last Monday in January and is the folk-dress ball of the Viennese season. It has been run for over a century by the Grünes Kreuz association, which uses the proceeds to support hunting families in hardship. In 2027 it takes place for the 104th time, spilling out of the Hofburg into the halls of the Spanish Riding School.
